I’ve got to ask you something.
It is a question I wish I had asked myself sooner.
I would have initially scoffed at it if someone dared pose it.
I am also certain it would have stirred my inner Kraken.
The questioner would have been well advised to: RUN.
My response to the question would have been delightfully simple.
“Are you f*cking kidding me?”
What impractical woo-hooery!
Who has time for questions like this when you are juggling endless treatments, healers, dietary restrictions, supplements, rituals, charms, exercises, meditations, incantations…and, oh, yeah a career, a partnership, friends, and family?
My honest answer…as a woman who learned the hard way?
Any woman who desires more for herself on this journey than stress and misery.
The sooner you ask it the better.
Within your answer lies the possibility to change the course your journey.
Do you believe this journey has to be difficult?
What you believe about this journey (and yourself) will shape your experience.
The choices you make.
The way you behave.
The support you get…or don’t get.
The trajectory of your relationships.
The opportunities you create.
The Mom you ultimately become.
This annoyingly powerful question rocked the world of a hardworking, driven, charmingly-Type A, slightly obsessive, big-hearted, control freak of a prosecutor, turned lovingly badass coach. (That’s Me.)
My answer was a steady and incredulous, “of course, it’s supposed to be difficult!”
Until it wasn’t.
Awareness if funny like that.
What lies on the other side of a limiting belief is freedom.
When I pose this question (in various forms) to the amazing women I coach, it makes me giddy.
Because, I know what comes next…
It may seem preposterous at first, but I love you enough to ask.
I want you to know what this journey is like when it becomes luxuriously simple.
When comparisons stop.
When fear turns to excitement.
When uncertainty becomes your BFF.
When you put stress on a chain.
When you have the bliss of “knowing.”
When you become the woman you were meant to be.
It is all there for you. Seize it.

Intrigued? Here’s an exercise to take this to the next level…
Ask the question.
What do you believe about this journey?
What are the stories you tell yourself about how this journey is “supposed to be?”
Make a list. Seriously. When you know what they are, you have the power to change them if they suck.
What do you notice?
Are they a replay of past failures, bitterness, self-loathing, and fear?
Hold onto the stories that make you feel AWESOME. Uplevel the rest.
Give this a try. Stretch yourself. Remember, it’s about progress, NOT perfection.
Want extra accountability? Leave a comment and tell me how it’s going.
Stress isn’t doing your fertility any favors.
Women who are serious about creating the best possible circumstances on their fertility journey don’t settle for letting stress undermine their efforts. They take action.
Fear and stress complicate your journey. Let’s make the way you live it luxuriously simple, so you can be the Mom, partner, and woman you were meant to be.
My proven tools, strategies, and coaching method are “journey-tested” and frankly…badass.
