Whether we are TTC naturally or are being supported by treatments of all kinds, we start living in two week increments–counting down the days until we test.
On top of that, we live under a near constant barrage of:
- Fear-mongering about our age (remember: according to Western medicine, if you are over 35 when TTC, you are “geriatric”)
- Pressure to “produce,” so we have something to hang our hope on, AND
- Worry that we only have a finite number of “chances,” OR that if medicine hasn’t saved our ass by now, nothing will!
